Terms of Service

SMX is designed strictly for personal-use SMS backup, logging, and remote dashboard inspection. You must exclusively install the SMX Android Sync Client on devices that you legally own or have explicit authorization to inspect. Synchronizing messages from a third party's device without explicit consent violates local wiretapping and privacy laws and will lead to instant account ban.

SMX syncs SMS entries using your device's active cellular or Wi-Fi connection. You remain solely responsible for any data costs, carrier charges, or messaging fees incurred during synchronization. We do not guarantee real-time delivery in conditions of network latency or service outages.

All synced messages are held in a strict FIFO circular buffer with a maximum capacity of 100 entries per device. Once you surpass this ceiling, old logs are automatically and permanently purged. SMX is not an archival storage platform; you are encouraged to back up critical data locally.

SMX is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances shall SMX, its maintainers, or hosting partners be liable for data loss, service interruptions, hardware damages, or remote access failures arising from the use of the client application or dashboard.
